A very fine cool-climate pinot, full of varietal verve, this is an expressive wine that comprises fruit from no fewer than 11 blocks. Think indigenous ferments, some whole bunch fruit, post ferment skin contact and individual oak handling. The end result is an outstandingly complex but beguiling wine with a terrific balance between fruit and savoury characters. Unfined, unfiltered and superb.
